Abstract
With the scheme of the variation analysis and Kalman filter,the radar data were adjusted by the real-time rain gauge data.The accuracy of areal rainfall calculation was improved and the results can be basically used for flood forecasting.It is concluded that the scheme is suitable in the upper and middle reaches of the Huaihe River.
