Abstract
In this paper,by using the simplified hydrodynamic equations of barotropic nondivergent atmosphere in cylindrial coordinates,the nondispersion cnoidal wave solution of spiral planetary waves is discovered.The formulas of wave speed and the diagnostic relationships between wave parameters are obtained,most of which are consistent with observed facts.It might mean that the nondispersion cnoidal wave does exist in the real atmosphere.At least it might be a first approximation to the actual nonlinear wave.
