Abstract
A baroclinic semi-geostrophic model describing the atmospheric motion in low latitudes and using the wave-CISK theory is established and the analytic solution is obtained. It is shown that the effect of nondimensional latent heat parameter which is assumed to depend only on height and used to state the wave-CISK mechanism is very important to the low-frequency oscillation.
