The 112-page academic periodical《Quarterly Journal of Applied Meteorology》 (QJAM) is a joint publication,sponsored by three subordinate units of the State Meteorological Administration:Academy of Meteorological Science (AMS),National Meteorological Center (NMC) and Satellite Meteorology Center (SMC) and published by China Meteorological Press.The first issue of the QJAM was already published in February 1990.The QJAM brings you the development and achievements of meteorological science and technology in China,with emphasis on various aspects of applied meteorology,such as weather forecasting,atmospheric sounding and remote sensing,agrometeorology,biometeorology,atmospheric environments,air pollution meteorology,aviation meteorology,marine meteorology,weather modification etc.
