APPLICATIONS OF MICROCOMPUTER TECHNOLOGY IN METEOROLOGICAL SERVICES OF CHINA

This paper briefly describes the broad applications of microcomputer technology in Chinese meteorological services,including surface observation,upper-air soundings,telecommunication control,graphic and image display,local weather forecasting and data processing.The further development in a few years is also mentioned.
